Graphite Study · Holland Village
Work that is early, not rushed.
Communications production for teams who need one schedule, one voice and one handover folder.
This page describes what Echo Drift Spark covers as a communications production studio: how capabilities are arranged on the board, how engagements run across a quarter, and what arrives in writing when work leaves the floor.
schedule
A dated plan that names owners, dependencies and release windows — updated weekly and shared as a PDF the whole team can open without logging into anything.
mix
A plain list of where each message appears, in what format, and who signs the final version before it is scheduled.
system
Named folders, version numbers and a short note on how new files replace old ones so nobody publishes the wrong cut.
note
A one-page summary of what went live, what was held back and what the next checkpoint covers — written for people who were not in the room.
Capabilities on the board
Four disciplines appear most often on the timing wall; the full board lists six on Flightlines.
| Capability | Rhythm | What we hand over | Best used when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign architecture | Quarterly | Channel map, message hierarchy, release calendar | A launch season needs one spine across paid, owned and partner channels |
| Creative direction | Monthly | Art direction notes, reference boards, approval log | Visual work must stay consistent while several vendors produce assets |
| Editorial programme | Fortnightly | Editorial calendar, draft queue, style sheet | Long-form and short-form pieces share one voice but different deadlines |
| Production governance | Weekly | Timing board export, risk register, sign-off trail | Multiple stakeholders need to see the same status without a standing meeting |

Five ways of working
Engagements differ by rhythm and documentation depth; each is described fully on Dusk Runs.
Production sprint
Three to four weeks focused on one release window — daily card moves on the board, one checkpoint call mid-week, handover within forty-eight hours of sign-off.
Quarter of channel work
Twelve weeks across email, social, partner and event touchpoints; the timing rail shows which channel leads each fortnight and what must be frozen before design begins.
Launch window
A fixed public date with reverse-scheduled dependencies; we document what cannot move and what may slip without affecting the headline moment.
Editorial retainer
Standing fortnightly production of articles, scripts and supporting cuts; the queue lives on the board and each piece carries a version mark before release.
Advisory seat
One senior producer attends your internal reviews, reads materials in advance and returns marked notes within two working days — no asset production included.

How a week is shaped
The standing weekly shape is documented on Turnarounds; in brief, Monday opens with a board read, Wednesday holds production review, Friday closes with a written release note.
- Monday 10:00 — board read: cards moved, risks named, owners confirmed
- Tuesday — quiet production: no standing calls unless a card crosses into red
- Wednesday 15:00 — production review: approvers join for thirty minutes with a pre-circulated one-pager
- Thursday — vendor and partner follow-ups logged on the margin ledger
- Friday 17:00 — release note issued; shutter half down by 19:00

Echo Drift Spark sits above Lorong Mambong in the Holland Village quarter — close enough to Chip Bee Gardens for evening recce walks, far enough from the main road that the timing board can be read without traffic noise. Clients arrive with briefs that are mostly right but poorly sequenced; we reorder work so dependencies are visible before anyone opens a design file. That reordering is the substance of production governance, and it is why the board remains a physical artefact even when your team prefers digital tools.
The studio does not sell ready-made packages on this site; it describes capabilities, rhythms and written deliverables so you can judge fit before a first call. Paid social planning, owned editorial, partner kits and internal briefings all appear on the same wall — not because we insist on one process, but because mixed-channel work fails when each channel maintains a separate calendar nobody else reads.
Art direction notes, editorial calendars and release notes are treated as first-class deliverables here — equal to the assets they govern. That priority shows in the margin ledger on this page and in the handover folder described on Drafting Board.
When your team already knows what must ship but lacks one shared schedule and one written handover, Callsign is the plain way to start — address, hours and who reads the mail, with no form on the page.
